ABOUT THIS TOOL

A working record of the accounts behind a website

What it does

The mapper records the providers, account owners, recovery position and evidence references for 13 systems, from the registrar and DNS to hosting, payments and backups. Its dependency view makes weak ownership and single-person recovery routes easier to spot.

Who it is for

It is designed for website owners, small teams, agencies preparing a handover and buyers reviewing an existing digital business. Start with the sample website if you have never made an ownership register before.

How the statuses work

Ownership is recorded as business-owned, personal, externally managed, unknown or not applicable. Recovery is recorded separately because a company may own an account without having tested how it can regain access.

What the export contains

The plain-text register summarises critical gaps, personal and outside-party dependencies, recovery weaknesses and each system’s evidence reference. A separate JSON backup lets you reopen the project in this tool later.

What it cannot verify

The mapper organises what you enter. It cannot sign in to a provider, confirm legal ownership, test recovery, inspect account permissions or prove that an evidence file is genuine. Those checks must be completed with the relevant provider and recorded accurately.

Privacy and storage

Projects are stored in this browser using local storage. ArsKhan does not receive the entries and no account is required. Clearing browser data removes local projects, so export a project backup if the record matters. Never enter passwords, API keys, recovery codes or customer data.
