What ArsKhan collects and how it is used.

ArsKhan is an independent publication. We collect as little personal information as the site needs to operate, reply to readers and deliver The ArsKhan Brief.

Effective: 18 October 2026

Information created when you visit

ArsKhan is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, time of request and security signals. This information is used to deliver the website, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.

ArsKhan does not currently use advertising cookies, sell visitor information or create user profiles. If analytics or advertising is added later, this notice will be updated before that change is made.

Messages and corrections

If you email ArsKhan, we receive the address you used and anything you include in the message. That information is used to read, answer and keep a reasonable record of the correspondence. Email is provided through Zoho Mail.

Sending a general enquiry or correction does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

The ArsKhan Brief

If you subscribe, the email address and optional name entered in the form are sent to Zoho Campaigns. Zoho manages the confirmation email, mailing list and unsubscribe requests. An address does not become active until its owner follows the confirmation link.

ArsKhan uses those details only to send The ArsKhan Brief and manage the subscription. The list is not sold or added to unrelated marketing. Every edition includes an unsubscribe link. Zoho may retain a limited suppression record after an unsubscribe so that the address is not added again by mistake. Zoho handles the information under its own privacy terms.

Browser-only tools

The Website Ownership Mapper and SaaS Transfer Control Register run inside your browser. Project details, control records and evidence references are not sent to ArsKhan or stored in a database. They remain in local browser storage until you clear this site’s data. Exported reports and project backups are saved only where you choose to download them.

External links

Articles may link to documentation, services, Medium and other websites. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices. A link does not give ArsKhan control over the information another site collects.

Your questions and requests

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or ask us to delete correspondence that no longer needs to be kept. Write to hello@arskhan.com or use the contact page.

In plain terms

No account is required to use these tools. Their project records remain in your browser, and ArsKhan does not receive the information entered there.
